The Art and Power of Non-Combative Communication
August 30 & 31
Westerville Community UCC
In this age of division, you may be struggling to find the right words … or even the right approach to the anger, hurt and discord you encounter every day.
We are following up on our wildly popular Art and Power of Active Listening by offering a hands-on, reality based class that will empower you to deal directly with your own experiences in the church – or at school, at work, or in the neighborhood.
Allan Rohlfs is our lead coach. He brings us nearly four decades of experience working in the international Center for Nonviolent Communication. Rohlfs holds an M.Div degree, and as an auxiliary faculty member of Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He has served faculty appointments at the California School of Professional Psychology and at the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine.
Keep watch for more information. In the meantime, collect stories of those times when you longed for constructive ways to handle the conflict when your values collide with others.
