The Art of Non-Combative Communication

Registration Deadline Extended!: August 26
In this age of division, you may be struggling to find the right words … or even the right approach to the anger, hurt and discord you encounter every day.
We are following up on our very popular Art and Power of Active Listening by offering a hands-on, reality based class that will empower you to deal directly with your own experiences in the church – or at school, at work, or in the neighborhood.
Allan Rohlfs is our lead coach. He brings us nearly four decades of experience working in the international Center for Nonviolent Communication. Rohlfs holds an M.Div degree, and as an auxiliary faculty member of Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He has served faculty appointments at the California School of Professional Psychology and at the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine.
Registration remains open until August 26. Your cost is $30, plus the expense of travel, meals enroute, and overnight lodging. The registration fee covers a group dinner on the evening of August 30, and refreshments during the workshop. Professional fees and related expenses are heavily subsidized by a generous grant from the Thomas Dipko Fund.
