Come to Columbus March 24:
First Congregational UCC, 444 E Broad Street, Columbus invites youth and their adult companions to process together from the church to the Statehouse to join young people and others from around the state for the day’s rally. Plan to meet in the church parking lot at 9:30am.
GO TO WASHINGTON D.C. Some families are arranging to participate in the major March For Our Lives in Washington, DC. Consider being part of this opportunity to confront our legislators about the need for serious changes in our attitudes about violence in schools, possession and use of guns, and all manner of related fears and concerns!
Make your own travel and other arrangements to participate in the D.C. rally. The Ohio Conference is offering financial assistance. Use the form to let us know that you plan to be in Washington, D.C., and to request financial assistance, if necessary, to alleviate some of the cost. The application for assistance is needed no later than March 15.
The Minnesota Conference of the UCC invites all UCC youth who are going to D.C. to march together. As details regarding meeting places are completed, we will send you more information.
Show the world that youth of Ohio Conference want an end to killings and threats in our schools, on our streets, and in our churches. It is time to show we are determined to work for safety and peace in our communities.
