The registration process is detailed on the linked pages above, but all payments will be handled through PayPal.
Concrete departure details will be sent to each participant. The general plan is to depart on the evening of April 3; travel overnight with necessary rests and a breakfast stop; join a silent procession to the National Mall; and, late in the day April 4, return overnight to the departure cities.
John Dorhauer, the General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ, and Sharon Watkins, the past president of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) are key members of a planning team at the National Council of Churches. The event, which is partially sponsored by the National Council of Churches, is seen as an inspirational beginning of a nation-wide effort to defeat racism in our nation. Plan to participate in this historic moment for justice and peace!
