Outdoor Ministries has always relied upon a strong, committed, and faith-full group of volunteers. We invite you to prayerfully consider where our Still-speaking God may be inviting you to come alongside to make a significant impact on the lives of children and youth this summer.
All of our camp directors and counseling staff are volunteers. To serve as a director or counselor, you must be at least 18 years of age and be at least 3 years older than the maximum age range for a particular camp event. For example; you must be at least 21 to counsel for a camp event that is for high school students. You must also successfully complete background and reference checks. To better understand your roles and responsibilities, read these Volunteer Expectations.
All forms must be completed and submitted annually to the Ohio Conference office no later than one month prior to your camps’ start date.
• Driver Authorization 2016 (Submit only if you will be driving youth as part of your camp.)
• Photo/Video/Audio Permission 2016 (Submit only if you are giving us photos you have taken to use on social media and other marketing.)
Prepare Meals with Love and Laughter
Do you like to cook, bake, and create edible ‘works of art’ that will be appreciated by many, many people? Join our volunteer kitchen crew. Under the supervision of a trained and certified leader, our volunteer crew will prepare the meals that help make a camper’s experience truly memorable. And you will have fun doing it!
