Transitional Conference Minister Opening
The Ohio Conference is seeking profiles for a Transitional Conference Minster who will start no later than September 1, 2018. We are seeking an individual to work with the existing Vision Team on becoming “one nimble and responsive judicatory that is faithful in mission and responsible in stewardship” (Conference Structure Process, 2017). Many of the judicatory responsibilities in the conference are performed by the associations and their staff. Some of the primary responsibilities for the Transitional Conference Minster will be, liaison amongst associations, national, and ecumenical partnerships, and develop and oversee faith formation initiatives, including those in outdoor ministry. A successful candidate will be an effective consultant, communicator, mediator, and administrator with a discerning heart. This is a full-time position with benefits.
