(Photos above) Many of our camp directors and a couple of counselors met at Pilgrim Hills on April 23 for a full day of training. Topics included site safety policies and procedures, emergency plans, risk management, hospitality, curriculum highlights, summer program offerings, a chi gong break, and many stories shared.
Save Your Spot at Camp NOW
Preparations for summer camp are well under way, and we are seeing wonderful registration numbers. Sports Camp is nearly filled, and one of our Grandparent–Grandchild camps is also full. There are many other camps that offer great experiences led by veteran directors and counselors such as:
Circle of Friends (June 12-18) welcomes all school-age campers for a week packed full of favorite camp activities like hiking, swimming, fishing, campfires, vespers, crafts and more.
Music, Mime, Arts, Dance and Drama (June 19-25) has an arts flair so that you can praise the Lord with everything you bring.
Love the Pool (July 3-9) will speak to you if you cannot get enough time at the swimming pool and want to take lessons on how to improve your strokes.
Choir Camp (July 10-16) participants work all week long toward a choral performance for their parents on Saturday morning.
Although each of these camps obviously include specialized activities, each of these still include the hiking, swimming, crafts, vespers, and camp activities that campers love! All ages are welcome at camp with adult offerings including three remaining Grandparent-Grandchild sessions, and Floating with the Spirit, a women’s canoe camp.
