We have also had successful family and individual camp opportunities this summer. Over the summer through October we had 7 families campout in the Parker Ridge cabins for one or two nights at a time, one minister who came for a solo retreat to plan their fall schedule for two days, and 4 families who came out for a day visit. All enjoyed and appreciated this opportunity for respite, recommend other families to take advantage of it, and two families decided to come back a second time!

Like many businesses, Templed Hills Camp and Conference Center has been hit hard financially during this time. We have had very little income due to the necessity of cancelling on site summer resident camp and very few other groups or usage this year. Although we have cut expenses as much as possible, many expenses such as insurance, utilities, building and grounds upkeep and more remain. We believe that this pandemic is not over and will continue to impact our operations. We vow to examine every expense and reduce spending as much as possible.
We have great hope for the future of Templed Hills Camp and Conference Center, and we need your support to get us through this gap.
We ask Congregations to host a “Camp Sunday” to raise awareness and to solicit funds. We have created a video that you may use in your service. It includes an introduction from Rev. David Long-Higgins, our Transitional Conference Minister, a recap of our summer camp successes, and a closing ask from myself for a financial contribution. Please click here for the link.
