Purpose of the Make A Difference Grants
The purposes for the Fund are to assist with networking, capacity building, and ministry enhancement of United Church of Christ congregations in the Heartland Conference. Requests may include grants to fund leadership development, congregational ministries, and community outreach ministries.
Emphasis may be given to new, creative and imaginative projects as well as support for existing programs.
Grant recipients are required to submit reports detailing how the funds addressed the need which was identified in the application, in what ways the recipient organization or project was strengthened, how the funded project affected the congregation or community at large, and what effort remains in order to complete the project.
Report forms and dates will be included with each grant check.
